After years of driving manuals, I'm now committed to an automatic but reliability is key. Anyone here who's owned the '23, '24, and '25 Ascent and can compare how they've aged? Subaru has always been dependable but does one of these model years stand out? Does the base model still allow fog lights without headaches? Who's logging serious miles?

Hey Ryan I can only speak for the 23 Ascent as that's what I own. so far, it's been super reliable for me! I'm really happy with the automatic transmission. it feels very solid.
You mentioned the base model and fog light, are you looking at a specific trim level? I haven't had any issues with my fog lights on my '23.

Happy to hear about the transmission on your '23. That's a big part of the equation for me coming from only manuals. I am leaning toward the base model and wanted to know if the wiring is in place for an easy fog light addition. How many miles have you put on yours so far?
