3rd row space

Family grew so i need a 3rd row and I'm looking at the Ascent but I read people complaining about hte 3rd row being cramped so is it or it's just trash talk? I need it for kids and hauling cargo when needed so I dont think I'll be putting full grown adults 6+ feet there
