Ascent and snow

It's pretty clear what I'm interested in, how does the Ascent handle snow? I'll probably go for the AWD model because I live in an area where snow is a daily occurring during the winter months and I'd like to get something that can handle that. Yes, I will be getting winter tires as well, but I'm interested in the Ascent and how the system and vehicle handle these conditions.

The guy that sold me my 2020 Ascent was a mountain lover and took it wherever he could throughout the year, meaning he did a lot of snow driving and said he didn't have any problems with it. On top of a set of Blizzaks, he also had a set of chains and claimed that he never ever got stuck anywhere.

@Pewpewpiepie The Ascent handles snow really well, especially with AWD and winter tires. Adding chains for deep snow or icy spots is a smart backup just in case.
